What a busy summer already!  I love each of my sessions & everyone that I get to meet.  Here is a little peek of my most recent sessions.  One of the best parts of what I do is getting to know each of the families I get to work with.  I truly feel blessed by it!  Thank you for letting me capture a little piece of your life! You all are great!

 Sneak peeks for my last couple of sessions coming soon.  I am looking forward to a crazy busy week this week & model shoot with Marki Rae on Wednesday!  Shes got sass, style and a fab smile...you dont wont miss these! 

I am sooo looking forward to July 4th weekend too, one of my favorite holidays! Be looking for a lot of pictures around that time.  Make it a great week, everyone!

Travis & Teaya's Wedding {Sneak Peek}

A day that was predicted to be the end of the world turned out to be the perfect day for Travis & Teaya Hayes Wedding!!  Heres a little peek of their celebration held at the Elks Club in Waterloo (which is a totally Awesome place to have a wedding...btw!!) 

I was honored to be part of their big day & share a little piece of their happiness.  They are seriously one of the most real, fun loving and giggly couples that Ive ever met, I just love how real they are! 

Enjoy the few pictures below and thanks again for the invite to be part of your day, it was Beautiful and Teaya....you looked absolutely Stunning and Travis, you didn't look so bad yourself! I'm sure your honeymoon rocked and welcome home!

This is probably my favorite....she changed dresses and he had no clue that she did until this moment when they had a little intimate time before family pictures!!! I can almost hear her laugh in this one!

Andy + Brittney = Love! Engagement Session Sneak Peek!

Enjoy the Sneak Peek of Andy & Brittney's Engagement Session captured in and around Waverly!   I just loved their bright colors and spending some time getting to know them better.  Before I know it their wedding day will be here!  Cannot  believe we are already almost into June!

Chris + Becky = Love! Engagement Session Sneak Peek!

Enjoy the Sneak Peek of Chris & Becky's Engagement Session!  It was done in Charles City.....what a fun town to take pics + their pics turned out great for the wind storm we had that day.

I cannot wait to capture their big day in July, hoping for the perfect day!

The hubs and I enjoyed a quick weekend away to CA this last weekend to celebrate Josh & Brittney's marriage too - I'll post a few of those pics later this week + a lot of galleries will be posted too!

Sneak Peeks! MP's Little Model Search + tutu's galore! Seniors - Looking for Reps to represent us @ their school....who do you know?

Wow, the studio has been busy lately and I'm loving it!  I am posting a few Sneak Peek's from my latest sessions + letting everyone know whats been going on lately. 

First off....I have partnered with Distinctive Designs by Jill and have an Exclusive Mikala Photography Tutu, Boys Clothes and Hair Accesories line in studio and will be running a contest starting in June to look for a little model (Boy or Girl or maybe both!!) to represent the studio.  All of Jill's designs are hand made and only $20 per tutu + matching hair accessories or hats are available! I am also working the details out with a few other vendors to carry other lines in the studio as well.  See a few examples below of the tutus & halter Tutu dress from Distinctive Designs by Jill!

It has been so exciting for me to be able to partner with other locals around Waverly and boost everyones business + give you all what you're looking for - The best pictures of your kiddos & with style.  I am working on having a full childrens boutique....... so when you come visit the studio you have things to pick off the rack, but will also have the option to take it home with you that day (if your child just cant part with it!) Start booking for your mini sessions now to be included in the Mikala Photography's little model search....kick off is in June!

I can hardly wait to share the sneak peek of Nate & Janna's Engagement Session from today...it was such a great time getting to know them better and seeing their style.  Janna's a runner and she knows of so many locations around Wave, its Awesome, I'm looking forward to getting with her soon and mapping out the town for their wedding!

Next week....I'm off to Cali then a ton more traveling in the month of May & a lot more sessions!  If I have an upcoming session with you and you're interested in being an early bird for the contest, just give me a call!
